Ian also served as the Director of Tobacco Research at Celerion, where he contributed significantly to the development of clinical evidence to support regulatory filings. Furthermore, his tenure as Principal Scientist and Head of Clinical Research at British American Tobacco solidified his reputation as a thought leader in this space. Ian is also a prolific contributor to the scientific community and has published more than 60 papers, including more than 20 on tobacco/nicotine product assessment, which have generated more than 3,200 citations.
